INGREDIENTS :
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup catsup
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup sherry or sake
- dash of Chinese five spice powder
- 1~2 tbsp. Hoisin Sauce
PROCEDURE :
- Boil for at least 30 minutes.
- Mix all the ingredients for marinade and marinate the spareribs for a few hours, turning them occasionally so that the meat is marinated evenly.
- Line the spareribs on a cookie sheet and bake at 350F for 45 ~ 60 minutes. Brush them with marinade every 10 or 15 minutes, or barbecue.
