INGREDIENTS :
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup low-fat milk
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 slices whole-grain bread
- Cooking spray
- 1/2 cup strawberries
- 1 tablespoon 100% maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons sliced almonds
PROCEDURE :
- Whisk together egg, milk and cinnamon; dip bread slices into mixture. Mist a skillet with cooking spray; cook bread over medium heat until golden, 2 or 3 minutes per side. Puree strawberries with maple syrup; drizzle on French toast. Top with sliced almonds.
